These include products labeled as protective, dental, medical procedure, isolation, and laser masks. Health professionals wear surgical facemasks to prevent the transfer of bacteria from their noses and mouths during surgery or when attending to vulnerable patients. Protective masks are also offered in clinics and urgent care facilities to help prevent the spread of communicable disease from person to person. Protective masks are appropriate for all general patient care situations, EMS or field operating personnel. Protective masks are also worn by people with allergies during hay fever months to protect themselves from pollen inhalation. Surgical masks are usually made of paper or synthetic materials and are suitable for one-time use only. Our facemasks are comfortable and highly breathable, latex free, and feature 3-ply construction. They come as ear loop masks or tie on masks. Tie on masks with visors are also available. |
